RADIATION MASK ART: The public is invited to see "From Darkness to Light," an exhibit recognizing those individuals impacted by cancer with radiation mask art from June 12 - July 9 at the West Valley Art Center, 16126 N Civic Ctr Plaza in Surprise. Info: Cancer Support Center: www.CSCAZ.org.

ONLINE ART: A Fagen Designs fiber art piece, "Frazzled" has been accepted in San Diego's Visions Art Museum Members Challenge Exhibition called "First Responders." It's a digitally manipulated photo of Laurie's nurse practitioner brother, Lee Marshall Fagen, in full gown, mask, shield and gloves, with raw edges and hanging threads. The exhibit is live on the museum’s website starting May 3rd at www.visionsartmuseum.org under the “EXHIBITIONS” tab.

It's the story in fabric, beads and quilting of my journey following the passing of my husband, Geoff Hancock, almost seven years ago. It's one of a number of fiber pieces in the show, which will be on display through March 31.
